Yoga for Healthy Ageing (Y4HA) is an evidence-based yoga course for building flexibility, agility, balance and strength for everyone of any age, with a focus on seniors and older adults. Yoga Australia reports on a wealth of research that yoga promotes healthy ageing and the treatment and therapy of a wide range of conditions. There are proven benefits for your physical and mental health such as improved cardiovascular health, increased joint mobility, improved respiratory efficiency, enhanced memory and concentration, as well as relief of the symptoms and conditions of sleep problems, chronic pain, anxiety, depression and stress.
