The course will cover forests planted at the Arboretum including, how the tree species became 'known to science', descriptions, uses, natural distributions and where else they grow. This 4th part covers 24 trees. The overall course has 4 parts, which can be taken in any order. Each part is discrete, covering roughly a quarter of the tree species in forests at the Arboretum. There will be two guided walks—one at the Arboretum on the last week and one at Westbourne Woods to be scheduled during the course to suit the most participants possible.
