This course will examine the origins of the landscapes around Canberra throughout geological time and the processes that shaped them. There will be three Friday morning classroom sessions at Hughes Room 3 during Feb-Mar 2026 and two all-day self-drive excursions on Thursday 12 and 19 March 2026 to places of interest around the city and region. A class of 20 is anticipated for Hughes Room 3. A waiting list will be kept for expressions of interest above the number allowed in case cancellations occur. Enquiries to .
