Meditation for Wellbeing Ongoing (R087.06)

This is a continuing course and requires the participants to have either completed the first year of Meditation for Wellbeing and/or to have other appropriate experience of Meditation. This class will continue to explore gentle yoga and relaxation in order to calm the body and mind and then move into Dru yoga breathing practices and meditations. Suitable for all fitness levels, as the gentle yoga can be modified. Health form is required. Course may be conducted by zoom if warranted.

NOTE 1: This course will run for three terms. The term breaks will be the same as the school holidays. We will be in recess for the winter term. Exact dates of each term will be provided at the beginning of the year.
NOTE 2: Venue: This course will be held at the Wesley Centre,Vercoe room 22 - 24 National Circuit Forrest. Entrance to the free car park is off Fitzroy Street. The car park requires a code. Please  check your email for this  code.

Costs:$5.00 per session paid up front by the second week of term - 1st term $35.00; 2nd term $40.00.
Student Materials:Please bring a water bottle, a yoga mat/blanket if using the floor for relaxation and/or Meditation and a cushion to support the back may also be needed if sitting in a chair, especially  for Meditation. A shawl/cardigan can also be useful as the body cools down during relaxation and meditation.
