Mahjong (Northside) - Thursday (R018.16)

This is a course for experienced players, but we do have classes for beginners from time to time. (Contact Pauline Young to join the waiting list). The Western Mahjong game is played. If you have played the Chinese game in the past, the Western game is similar, but more complex with many more special hands. It is a fun game with the emphasis on fun!
Mahjong sets are provided.

Costs:	There is a $30 joining fee for new members. Weekly sessions are free of charge. A small membership fee ($7 for three years) is payable to the Raiders Club directly.
Student Materials:	"The Mahjong Players Companion" by Patricia A.Thompson & Betty Maloney is used by players. It can be bought from all good bookshops. The cost is approximately $20. Notes will also be provided.
