From Notes to Music - Recorder Ensemble Playing (M101.09)

Limited Vacancies

This course is for experienced recorder players interested in further developing their ensemble playing techniques. Emphasis is given to transforming notes on the page to music - paying attention to phrasing, learning to hear other parts and contributing to the sound of the ensemble as a whole. Because we are a small group, and current members enjoy playing a range of instruments, new members would normally be expected to play the tenor and/or bass recorder as well as the smaller instruments.
