A continuing course for people seeking to retrieve the French they have previously learned from wherever it lurks in their brains. We practise reading, listening, speaking, and do some grammar revision. Some preparation is needed each week. We use a variety of materials, including Slow News in French and a variety of reading texts. In 2026 we will start by reading the short story collection: "13 a table" (2025)

Course covers 4 terms but will not run during ACT school holidays
Venue:Urambi Village Community Centre
Costs:$60 per half year includes room rental, occasional copying and morning tea supplies.
Student Materials:Materials will often be provided by pdf, so participants need internet access and preferably the ability to print out hard copies.
Participants will need to purchase a copy of 13 A TABLE (2025) available from Abbey Books Sydney.
