This is a course in elementary Japanese, both spoken, written and grammar. It covers the content of the Marugoto Levels A1 & A2-1 and the Genki1&2 (3rd ed.) textbooks and continues L113.07. The ability to read hiragana is required for the textbooks. Use of smart phone apps is used to assist with kanji reading. The group has a very strong emphasis on social interactions and mutual support.
App-based ChatGPT AI is also utilised for conversational development.
