Changing world order has recently thrust Canada into greater international attention. While Canada's history is not well known beyond its borders, it has some dramatic phases, and some interesting points of similarity and contrast with Australia. In this course we will follow the course of Canada's political, social and economic development from before European settlement to the present day. We will also explore some of the country's rich and complex cultural development.
