This ongoing course, which is run as an adjunct to the activities of the Military Historical Society of Australia, addresses different topics each week across a wide and varied range of military history subjects, from antiquity to the present day, with special emphasis on Australian military history. In addition to presentations by course members and guest speakers [including historians, published authors, and others talking from personal experience] film documentaries are also shown.
Over 650 presentations have been given since the course began in 2008, involving over 120 different speakers. General discussion is encouraged, and viewpoints challenging 'accepted history' are welcomed.
