Vacancies

We are a friendly group who love reading science fiction / fantasy / speculative fiction and enjoy sharing our favourite authors/genres and discovering new ones. We welcome new members whether they are new to these genres or have always been reading them. We do not read set texts. Every year we agree a topic and presenter for each meeting; presenting is completely voluntary. The presenter-of-the-month provides a suggested (not compulsory) reading list prior to the meeting and may give a short presentation on the topic at the meeting. If there is a covid lockdown we meet via zoom.

Enrolment Date:	Sunday,1 February 2026 after 9.00 am
Start Date:	Tuesday, 10th February 2026
End Date:	8th December 2026
Time:	10:00 am - 12:00 noon
Frequency:	2nd Tuesday of the month
	We meet every second Tuesday of the month.
Venue:	Flynn CH Rm 2
Costs:	$22 per person room rent for full course of 11 months.
Student Materials:	Members need to read a science fiction or fantasy book each month from their own collection, the library or by borrowing from other members.
