If you enjoy reading and discussing books this course may well appeal. Course participants progressively compile a reading list for the year and, each month, from February to December inclusive, discuss one book from the list in a freewheeling conversation usually led by the person who proposed that book for inclusion. Books on the list are generally, but not exclusively, works of fiction, often recently published, but we have revisited old classics.

| Costs: | The cost is $15 for annual membership of the Canberra Seniors Centre. In addition there is a monthly room rental of $7 payable by the member whenever the member attends an individual session. That payment covers the provision of tea or coffee and biscuits. |
| Student Materials: | Members provide their own copy of each book. Titles are often available for borrowing from the ACT public library but some members choose to purchase their own copy. |
