Reading Shakespeare (ELL011.18)

Limited Vacancies

This is a self directing group with individual members presenting and leading the discussion on a play. We endeavour to read all the plays and to include the poems and sonnets as we go along. In particular we discuss the drama and comedy of the plays, historic content and the relevance today of what Shakespeare portrayed through his plots and characters. Discussions are often lively, thought provoking and informative as members contribute their own knowledge and experience of Shakespeare and the times he lived in.
