This course will examine both international and domestic trends and themes driving our world. Various books, articles and audiovisual pieces will be recommended by the convener and participants to inform discussion in the two-hourly weekly sessions, over the eight-week term. Each session will consist of two parts, a review and discussion of current domestic issues, and secondly a discussion of international issues. Participants will decide on issues they feel of importance, and material related to those issues.
