Scientists and meditators alike have been intrigued by the similar ways modern quantum physics, theories of mind and traditional meditation practices describe what we call reality. This course will present different meditation methods commonly used to calm the mind and discuss how they intersect with modern scientific fields such as psychology, neuroscience, health and physics. The course will also explore our perceptions of the world and how it relates to our mental and physical wellbeing. The course includes guided meditations and is open to anyone, however previous meditation experience may be an advantage.
