Jan Morgan's Trees of the Arboretum Part 2 (SHE092.07)

Vacancies

The course covers forests planted at the Arboretum including, how the trees became 'known to science', distributions, descriptions, uses and whether they grow elsewhere in Canberra. This second part includes the most spectacular of the autumn 'brilliants' and one which Charles Darwin thought 'very ugly'. The overall course has 4 parts, which can be taken in any order. Each part is discrete, covering 1/4 of the tree species in forests at the Arboretum. There will be two guided walks—at the Arboretum and at the ANU—one of which will take place in Week 7 and one scheduled to suit most participants.
