Qigong for Beginners (R116.03)
Vacancies
This course teaches Ba Duan Jin – one of the most widely practised forms in qigong and tai chi. The movements stretch all major muscles, massage organs and open meridians in the body. They also help to balance our energy, increase flexibility, strength and coordination, promote relaxation and mindfulness. In general qigong is similar to tai chi, but gentler and easier to learn.
No previous experience is required, but you should be able to stand for about 50 min. Each 1h session incudes a gentle standing warm up and a short seated meditation (chairs are fine).
