Barre is a mix of ballet, pilates & yoga exercises. The certified instructor (me) sets the full body workout to music that tells the story of a well-known ballet. We use a barre, hand weights and chairs for some core work. It's for people who want a low-impact, full-body workout without getting down onto the floor. Exercise is not without it's risks, and like other exercise programs may result in injury. By engaging in these exercises, you do so at your own risk.
