Meditation for Wellbeing - Beginners (R086.06)

Meditation is the perfect balance between alertness and relaxation. It aims to provide a range of benefits with regular practice, including better sleep, reduced anxiety and worry, and increased mental clarity and focus. This class is designed for beginners. It involves some preliminary yoga and a relaxation to quieten the body, followed by meditation practice. Participants can choose to use a chair or mat for the various course components as this course is suitable for all fitness levels. Participants will be required to complete a short health information form.

There will be three class terms Summer, Autumn and Spring. There will be no Winter term. Also, no classes during school holidays or on public holidays. Exact term dates will be given to all students at the start of the term. | |

Costs: | Room rent $20.00 per term. |
Student Materials: | Bottle of water, blanket or shawl, cushion or other props e.g., yoga mat as required, cushions. |
