A moderated discussion of articles and book extracts exploring issues in philosophy, which will look at ideas, challenges and dilemmas relevant to life in the 21st Century. Each session will be based on a pre-circulated reading, and sessions are based on all attendees participating. Themes for 2025 will explore topics including truth, certainty, and commitment and will draw on moral philosophy, ethics and philosophical issues in technology, science, politics, leadership and economics.
