Scottish Small Pipes (M127.01)

Vacancies

The Scottish Small Pipes are a smaller version of the larger Bagpipes. They're intended for small folk music groups and indoor venues.
The 2025 National Folk Festival featured workshops and performances by a Small Pipes group.
Unlike the larger bagpipes, most small pipes play in the key of A. Some versions are mouth-blown, others are bellows-blown.
This group is for those with small pipes or practice chanters in the key of A, to practice together and learn from each other. Tuition may be available for those who already have some skill either with small pipes or Great Highland Pipes.
