This course involves practice of French through listening, reading, occasional grammar exercises for revision, and conversation. We listen to articles from the weekly podcasts of News in Slow French and read various texts. We will start by finishing our reading of Francois Garde's Ce qu'il advint du sauvage blanc before starting a new book, yet to be decided. Participants do not need to subscribe to News in Slow French but may like to check out its advanced level articles for an indication of the level.
