The seminars will discuss topics on slavery and the harsh treatment of people in history, flu epidemics, history of income tax in Australia, does history help or hinder efforts to find solutions to climate change, biodiversity loss, respect for democracy?, governance in the colony of NSW, Napoleon in Egypt, political ideologies, Australia's past and historical fiction, history experienced through individual stories, First Nations foreign policy, and include a session on insights to Canberra's early history. Participants are encouraged to express views about issues.
