This course tells a wide variety of the stories and experiences of many diverse people from both sides of the Australian frontiers, as European and Aboriginal societies first met and interacted. What did happen on the many frontiers – what historians call the "contact period " in Australian history? Illustrated with lots of Powerpoint slides and many books are available for loan.
