Our journey will take us through Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia & Greece. We will pass through landscapes both brutal & benign ranging from magnificent towering mountains, tall green forests & crystal-clear waters. We will visit a diverse range of castles, cathedrals & monasteries. Each reflecting the unique cultural blend of the people. It has witnessed many wars & struggles, with the region sometimes named the "powder-keg of Europe, due to actions arising from the strong ideals of its people.
