History of Australia from Prehistory to European settlement to recent times. Topics covered include Art, Architecture, Antiques, Literature, First Nations Prehistory and History, Local History, Australian towns and regions, Social History, Military History, Transport and Famous Australians. Each week guest speakers or volunteer class members present talks supported by audio/visual resources. Questions and discussions are encouraged. A substantial class library is available. Subsidised excursions for a day or overnight are offered.
