Reading Shakespeare (ELL011.17)
Waiting List Only
Members volunteer to present and lead a discussion of the play. We endeavour to read all the plays as close to their written order as possible. We include the poems and sonnets as we go along. In particular we discuss the drama and comedy of the plays, historic content and the relevance, today, of what Shakespeare portrayed through his plots and characters. Discussions are often lively, thought provoking and informative as members contribute their own knowledge and experience of Shakespeare.
