Non-violent Communication SBS012.01

This course is based on the book "Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life" by Marshall Rosenberg. Following Rosenberg's roadmap, we will explore the habits in our culture and ourselves that lead to frustration and psychological violence – sometimes physical or military violence. Using group discussions and exercises, we will practice ways to change those habits.

An Introduction to Psychology SBS014.01

This course provides an orientation to some areas of clinical and social psychologies. It includes topics such as psychological tests, learning and IQ, depression, suicide, obsessive-compulsive disorder, hypnosis and trance, and newer concepts such as the "plastic brain". It will also draw on anthropology for some of its material.
