We will explore works for orchestra, small instrumental ensembles, solo voices and choirs with instruments, including a selection of concertos, suites, sinfonias, sonatas and cantatas. Musical Theatre in the Max M005.04

Each week we will present a DVD or a PowerPoint presentation of a show from Musical Theatre (from 1930s to today), Gilbert & Sullivan, or Operetta. The shows will be different from those in our 2009 - 2011 courses. Group discussion will follow each showing. Each Term a guest speaker will be featured from the Canberra musical theatre scene. There will be options to join musical theatre outings during the year in Canberra and Sydney
